What’s not to love about Fall 2011?

A perfect time to play with bold colors, metalics and dramatic sophisticated looks. Why not try some of the smokey 2011 fall trends straight from the runway? Here is our Fall favorite from Designer Derel Lam.

Get The Look: Silvery Sultry Smokey Eye

Step one: Start with clean moisturized skin. Add primer all over.

Step two: Skip foundation for now.  Go straight to the eyes on this one.

MUA Tip: Place tape under eye and along the side of you don’t have a stead hand. This will act as a guide.

Add shadow primer on the lid to help amp up your shadow’s pigment. Use a small/short haired shadow brush to pat on a shimmer silver shadow all over the lid. Stay away from the brow; you want to ensure that are remains clean. Use another small/short haired shadow brush to pat on a charcoal colored matte shadow along the outer edge of your eyes in an inverted “V” shape.  Extend this color below the bottom lash line using your tape as an outline.  Once you have extended the color where you want it, remove the tape for a sleek straight look.

Step three: Now apply your foundation. Only add it where you need it. Correct skin blemishes and imperfections with a concealer.

Step four: Apply an oil control pressed powder all over for a matte finish.

Step five: Skip the cheek and go straight to the lips. Using a pale pink liner, line the entire natural line of your lip. Top with a similar or matching colored matte lipstick.

ENJOY MAMACITA’S!
